I got it for free and looking at it's history, it keeps going free every once in a while, if you're willing to wait.

And yes, it is a great solution! While I've usually stopped picking up calls anyways, it's good to see Robofence give me that small "probably a spammer" message underneath a call… :)

I know the best policy is not to pick up an unknown number and to let it go to voicemail, but there's also this option - Any one of the following -

yeah, exactly… I use a VPN which connects to servers in the EU (TigerVPN) and it works just fine. Not sure why I would want to use DNS like that…

//

That's ugly!

But Google Forms did the job… :P

that's what I ended up using! Thanks! :)

Folks, wasn't there a neat service which took form inputs and pushed them to a Google spreadsheet? #webdev

but wouldn't that server just look me up and say…

Oh wait, I just realized that servers don't usually expend processing figuring out where an IP is coming from.

But then, their client facing load balancer might, no?

I need to calculate my mental age too… I think I got locked into some age a few years ago and still don't know when it was!

Oh… VPN vs Smart DNS to work around geo-locked services like BBC iPlayer and Netflix. There are services like Unlocator which allow one to use American Netflix outside the US… Just wondering how changing the DNS achieves this.

nice work then! :)
