the one big reason for me to use IFTTT is to connect with Day One, which still doesn't have an open API (for their v2 product even though v1 had it) after all these years of them promising it.

The other piece is a nifty tooling I built where every new comment or highlight I make in Instapaper gets sent to my WordPress instance so I can convert it into a blogpost eventually…

and other things I'm discovering now that I'm paying for Pro :)

perhaps one condition of you moving to a managerial role would be to have the freedom to create your own team.

yup! It getting a little cumbersome because the app has become heavier, but it's still better than anything out there and I'm sorta committed to it. You're recommending connecting IFTTT to it?

haha ok then… I'll stick to my normal account. This is an experiment for me anyways. If it doesn't work, I'll 'pause' my payment at the end of the month.

That their scripting is in JS is rather telling… :D

it was a little surprising when I plugged your post into google translate and it told me that you have Sinhala letters on your phone!

not sure why that didn't link to correctly…

I have an IFTTT test account… today's the last day to get Pro…

Should I try this? (if it fails, should I try 25 cents?)

If it's 25 cents, I'll never turn IFTTT off. Too perfect a price for Pro features :D

that's brilliant! I've often run into safari being a jerk and not offering to connect to 1pass. I'll try the share sheet method next time!

I hope the person who created scrunched up arrow keys for laptops gets a fresh paper cut every day for the rest of their lives.
