@matigo well, in my case, for example, I code and I write. So I've got Ulysses, Scrivener, Xcode, and Sublime Text which are open all the time on any given day.
But so many apps are just noise. I feel I've surrounded myself with too many apps and now my concentration is spread thin because of that…
@indigo indeed. Most are too niche to be used.
Apps like Ulysses and Aeon Timeline for writers, Blogo for, well, bloggers, Chronicle for freelancers, Disk Drill and CleanMyMac for, I don't even know who, Flume for the one time you don't want to browse Instagram on your phone, iStat Menus, I have sworn not to use again, Numi I already got, RapidWeaver for @literary's website designing, and a few other for other too specific uses (some for devs in there too)

@matigo indeed. But they've promised a few things - always adding new apps, free upgrades forever, and supporting your favorite apps through this method.
I played with it for a month and found myself using only a few apps, one of which was Ulysses, which I already own, so I didn't start paying for it.
