@kdfrawg I feel that with the industrialization of war, it's easier to ignore or just be unaware of people's war experiences. Those who know someone in the defence sector know what war means, but those once removed have absolutely no clue.
Plus politicians love pushing for shorter species memory.

@jmreekes I bought lifetime TigerVPN from StackSocial long ago for $29. It works really well for the low-volume stuff I need it for - browsing on open networks, the occassional geo-locked video, etc. No difference in speed, just that only 11 servers available to me instead of the 30 or so they have for the full service.
I'd buy it again.
@peemee will watch it later, but I just recently bought tires from Costco and they very proudly put Nitrogen in my tires…
Just remembered that S/O saw me watching #Supergirl one day & didn't know the show, so she asked me, "Why is this show so over the top?!" :D
