Thanks! Yes, that covers all my questions… They don't want to exit the airport. They're just looking for a cheaper flight to Seattle and it's cheaper through this ocean than that.

I'll tell them about the airport maps thing, though the main concern is only about getting from one terminal to the next, so I guess your information helps there!

They'll probably start out of India with International roaming. It's gotten cheap enough in India to enable it for a week for emergency calls.

I assume you mean to say that the airport doesn't have free wifi? It's ok if it doesn't…

Yeah I used it yesterday and will again today… Let's see how long this experiment goes… :)

// @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg hmmmm. I'll look. If it's possible, I'm doing it!

//

@kdfrawg everything has crappy rating! If Apple Maps was on the app store, it'd have one star…

//

@kdfrawg Nokia maps?

//

@kdfrawg was one reason why I stopped using it. But now I'm thinking of going back. Apparently one can turn off most of the noisey features such as those candies. The ads though, still remain.

//

@kdfrawg noisy is a graceful way to put it!

do tell how it goes.

I've got relatives planning travel from India to US through Japan. Could you tell me -
1. Does Japan need transit visa for such a person, even if they don't want to get out of the airport?2. Does the airport have enough English language support?3. Do you know if the international airport is known for being difficult to use?

Thanks!

Not gonna use #GoogleMaps any more in #Seattle downtown. Doesn't know any of the traffic flow changes and completely screws up the ETA!
