@matigo Oh no, once he understood Facebook, he used it a lot, till it 'died' for us all. Right now, he uses twitter like crazy, but mostly to browse. He doesn't want to add another MBA voice to the noise… :P

Now there's a competition - which will come out first, the next GOT book or the final GOT season?!
There should be a web comic about the unspeakable horrors our soaps and shampoos see on a daily basis.
I said Namaste to Alexa and it said "I don't know that one". Uhhhhh. All the Indians working on the Alexa team, get your act together!
@matigo Allow me to launch into a short tale - when I first showed my brother Facebook, he gave me a confused look. When I showed him twitter, he asked me what he's supposed to do on there. Same for micro.blog, but with two added comments - 1. You're supposed to pay for this thing? 2. Why is it so difficult to 'create my microblog'?
I think Manton's service is going to be around till he moves on to the next project. It'll grow slowly, partly because he won't advertise and partly because the collaborative Open Web and hopes of "overturning the iceberg" are pipe dreams.

@indigo same here. Now I have a few installed on my phone, but I mostly still only use Daedalus on there. It's weird that spreading my writing thin has led me to actually dumping more of the apps I've tried…

@kdfrawg Scrivener is the king, no doubt! Gingko was useful once for me when I was writing a thing in which parts could be moved around. That's not true for 99% of the cases. The other time it's been useful is when I needed to refer to notes alongside the text. Scrivener does that too, Gingko just does it in an interesting format… :)
@matigo I exclusively use tweetbot. Just opened it over the weekend for some reason and it was this weird, gimmicky, teenage colors, over-simplified thing…
