@matigo woah! That’s a take! We’re bored so we’re destroying ourselves? Sounds very Hunger Games!
@matigo haha yes. They’re soooo bad! But I do like the love it receives from unexpected quarters…
@variablepulserate no. Way. How did I not know about this?!?!? BRB setting up forwarding for Foreign Policy and alllll the other newsletters I follow!!!!
OMG thanks!!
@matigo Ah! Yes, their Opinion pieces are often shit. I take them with a grain of salt because they're clearly meant to be for driving controversy and readership for the paper.
I didn't know about National Post. I'll check it out. I'm always interested in how right-leaning people can be more centrists.
@matigo oi, this tells me I didn't explain this well enough. I get the emails in my email already. I'd just hit fwd, or set that up automatically to forward to a fixed email address.
I sorta want https://kill-the-newsletter.com but for newsletters I've already subscribed to. I know I should bite the bullet and just use the site instead, but I'm lazy AF.
As for why I'd rather do this in RSS - that's my reading space. Email is for work or focus. I ****hate**** when I get newsletters in my email.
@matigo it sends people to a beautiful Front Page that NYT publishes as a PDF file daily.
Are you averse to NYT?
Also, can you access the URL in Japan? Or does NYT gatekeep the PDF to be accessible only in the US?
Folks, I need a solution for email-to-RSS. There's a few newsletters that insist on coming to my inbox. Can I forward them to a service that gives me an RSS feed? Or a way to send them to Instapaper?
I made an NYT URL Redirector - https://www.nitinkhanna.com/folks-i-made-a-thing-nyt-redirect/
