@jws I think it's meant to be like that. There's no OS, there's no base, so everyone keeps reinventing the base, which is fine as long as we slow down the cycles. That's the thing which seems to have happened for older tech (PHP) but still is in the works for newer tech (node/python).

The ability of developers to now respond to reviews is also great!
@streakmachine yeah… Some websites take it further and use a disruptive prompt (e.g. - timesofindia's website). That's so much worse!
Chrome needs to now add a way for us to never get these prompts.
iOS 10.3 In-App Review Prompts will save me sooooo much heartache! I want to leave reviews, but can't be bothered heading to the appstore.
Everybody and their mother's website wants to send me notifications through Google Chrome. Ummm nope. No thank you.
