@matigo I think I was talking about micro-tyranny, the kind often displayed by HOAs and NIMBYs and other middle class troublemongers.
But, those tyrants you talk about - once they lifted themselves out of abject poverty, did they try to uplift others too? No. Their story is more like a revenge plot, where they are angry at the people for not being a supportive enough society, so they must punish them even though they're now in a position to change things.
