@variablepulserate I haven't tried Impress. I have tried reveal.js and it is very nice! There are a few other JS libs out there to make presentations in browsers, if you want, including impress.js
But for desktop, it seems there's Impress which Jason mentioned and KDE's Calligra Stage (Linux only, working on Windows version; no Mac version in sight)
