I think the only book I've ever read again was The War of Art by Steven Pressfield, and that was because of a misconception I had. The book is in 3 parts and the third is about what to do with success. Since I didn't have any at that time, I just read the first two parts. In a later sitting, I thought about it and realized I want to read the entire thing, because success is relative.

I believe they want to focus on scale and ease for now, at the expensive of open source and self-hosted.

seems like a good move, considering the amount of stress it gives Michael Hoye…

yeah I don't know what that means or why it happened. Either a fluke, or part of the attack I faced on my blog last year or so. The hacker was able to modify MySQL files to add random URLs to my posts, in a very native manner, making it VERY difficult for me to detect them. I'm still cleaning up that mess today. I think 'compilations' happened either when I moved from wp.com to .org a LONG time ago, or some back backup, or was part of this hack.

Every few days, talking to someone, I end up mentioning @ZeroTier. It's one of those things that has revolutionized my life!

Back in the 2009-2010 timeframe, I used to put up a lot of personal posts on my blog. For some reason, they were categorized as 'compilations' on my blog. I created a new category called 'memory' and moved all of them there. :)

nice… 😊
