Instead of every iOS app implementing their own Open-In functionality, how about Apple just create a simple interface that works? I don’t want to open the Medium or Reddit apps every darn time I click a link!!
Huh. I just had serious deja vu when looking at Jason Kottke's 3 day old post about "The Secret to Enjoying a Long Winter", as if I've seen it years ago!
In the world of Knowledge Graphs, how big a hit was it to the rest of them that Amazon scooped up IMDB way back when?
@matigo I searched for them on DDG and this is what shows under site desc - "We would like to show you a description here but the site won't allow us." 😄
😄
@matigo quote the f out of the post. Pick up entire paragraphs. Oh, and shame them for keeping ideas inside a walled garden.
Wow. Downloaded an iOS app called DeepTimeWalk and opened it but closed it immediately because of some distraction. 24 hours later it has consumed 38% of my battery running ‘audio’ and background activity. Some apps are just horribly made!!
@axodys thanks… it was just a random thought when I saw how crazy people in Seattle go over the Seahawks and in general, people in India give too much to Cricket.
The epiphany that it has to be a certain 'type' of people came a little too late, but I'm glad for it…
@variablepulserate noooooo… What's with the constant 'learn this'?
Also, historical fiction over historical books and documentaries any day!
