@sumudu yeah, it's a neat product but holyshitexpensive! I wonder if Amazon will buy this company and release a special Kindle version with this tech.
@matigo yeah. Well, in my case, it's mainly about switching lights on and off. That's got a simple signal - the light goes on or off :D
Next feature in home assistants - quiet hours, during which the assistant doesn't give voice responses for basic switch on/off commands.
@kdfrawg Musk is working on those. I'll work on my RasPi to block ads in the meanwhile…
// @c
@kdfrawg found the purchase email (and cleared a bunch of crap from my inbox while doing that) and it turns out, it is -
Raspberry Pi Type B Single Board Computer
:D :D
// @c @hybotics
@hybotics will go hunting!
Right now I'm doubting which Pi I have. I think I have the oldest model A. I seem to have said so at some point in my liveblog timeline. Now I'll have to look for a case+sink compatible with that!
// @c
@kdfrawg agreed! Need a heat sink for sure! Or I can find a way to leave it outside on the balcony :)
